Doing ME and copping Chrisette Michele’s new CD-“Let Freedom Reign” at CD-Carol’s Daughter if ya didn’t know. The CD is hot, real music, a voice that is genuine and not manufactured by sound boards from a studio. Sometimes you gotta take a lil time out and do you as ChrisetteM says on the track “Number One” and I had a blast as it was worth the wait-I got to meet CD founder Lisa Price too. I’m glad to see the genre of jazz being revived and staying alive in a progressive “Artiste”-(french variant)-Artist-“a person who creates, is skilled in an activity, and is a master of their craft!! Go ahead girl!
Hey Everybody! I’m back took a little time off after wrapping up the Public Allies application process =( . Even though I didn’t make it in to the program because they did not find a match for me, I must say it was pretty cool to beat out 500 other applicants to become a finalist! So as the saying goes “I must keep moving forward”-unknown. Or from “Finding Nemo” in Ellen DeGeneres’ voice “Just Keep Swimming”, LOL if only I was a good swimmer…
So I’m switching this blog up for those who read, but have yet to subscribe. I wanna hear what your interested in beyond business and the nonprofit sector, what are your thoughts on life after the economic meltdown, do you think things are getting better, staying the same, or have gotten worse, let me know. Today…tonight rather is the matching fair and I am totally excited. My resume is updated, I have my sights set on my #1 pick (hmm…I would tell you, but your gonna have to wait), and I am ready to set-up the interview. So wish me the best tonight as I take a step closer to my dream of finalizing my hopes of becoming a Public Ally!!

So I have been a bit silent the past few days, but I’ve been busy. I am looking forward to the matching fair next week and hope it is a fun evening. Now this event seems to me that I might have to roll-up my sleeves and get a bit competitive, but we’ll see. So I will definitely be caffeinated that evening!! The count down has begun as it is 6 days, 166 hours, 10,014 minutes away!!!

This week I received an email asking me to do an interview for “On the Verge” on the Public Allies 2010 recruitment blog, so please look for that to be coming out soon!!
I am totally on the verge, I can almost feel the water on my toes—cause I’m jumping right in!! I believe I am going to make it all the way, because I’m so ready to get to work. The next 10 months will be life-changing for me, my future career path & personal life is shining bright!
